Description

Liberty LRP 3048 "Spectra Sonic Sound: The Ultimate in Hi-Fi". Music from the original soundtrack of the 1957 teen drag racing drama starring Leigh Snowden and Richard Hartunian, composed and conducted by Alexander Courage (composer of the original Star Trek music).   Issued by Liberty Records the LP has 14 songs composed by "Sandy" Courage and performed by the "Hot Rod Rumble Orchestra" which was made up of 34 jazz musicians including Maynard Ferguson and Barney Kessel.  Not many 1950's drag racing films had soundtracks released!
