Sir Alfred Ralston - Oh! What a Lovely War (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) LP
Decent UK Paramount 1st release gatefold.
This has never been released on CD, or in any other format beyond this vinyl issue.
Guest stars include Dirk Bogarde, Phyllis Calvert, Jean-Pierre Cassell, John Clements, John Gielgud, Jack Hawkins, Kenneth More, Laurence Olivier, Michael Redgrave, Vanessa Redgrave, Ralph Richardson, Maggie Smith, Susannah York, John Mills.
Condition VINYL: EX. Both sides are wonderfully clean on visual inspection. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is superb throughout. Some very light static in a few places but a very enjoyable listen. The vocals are especially crisp. Maybe harder to find a better copy. COVER: EX. Fantastic laminated gatefold front and back. No obvious major marks or damage. Just a few little nicks in corners. Some minor damage to aperture but spine is clean and intact. Edges are unscuffed as well. Inner gate is clean with no creases. Just a few tiny marks in bottom right corner. Overall a wonderful copy. INNER SLEEVE: VG+. White paper with curved corners. Intact with minor folding/creasing.
