Description
Alice Cooper can appropriately be credited as the pioneer of shock rock. In fact, some have called him the godfather of the genre. But in addition to his horror shows on stage, he also created some fabulous hard rock music while on that same stage. This was his fourth album and was his most successful to date. It produced two hit singles, though there are at least three other tracks that still receive significant airplay. It’s one of my personal favorite hard rock albums. The album was released on Warner Bros. in 1971, number BS 2567 and SMAS-94265. This is the original release of the album and it is the Capitol Record Club release. The detachable calendar is included and still attached to the cover. The vinyl is in beautiful condition with its bright original luster and just a couple of hairlines and very light surface scratches that barely impact play.
This is one of many albums I collected when I was a kid and will be listing more out of my personal collection shortly. The cover has slight blemishes on the top front and top back (see photo). On the back cover I printed my name " PAT WOOD" with magic marker in case they got ripped off. The binding on the cover is worn from the calendar being detached, and the album itself is very good.
