Description

I have decided over the next few months to sell some of my own record collection. It is varied in its content from 60/70's Folk and Rock to Classical. Some records I have owned since new, others I have carefully selected and picked up along the way.

Whilst I have owned them, they have only ever been played on a Michell Orbe turntable, fitted with an SME V tonearm and Lyra Delos cartridge. This plays through a Tom Evans Groove phono stage, Sim Audio Moon amplification and Sonus Faber Cremona M speakers. Not only is this a revealing system, giving me an accurate assessment of all records played on it, but it has, I hope, looked after the vinyl.

I clean my records on an Okki Nokki RCM and very carefully store them in new sleeves, in a smoke free enviroment. 

All records sold, will be cleaned again and play checked before dispatch.

I will grade using the Record Collector system, erring on the side of caution, happy to discuss details with any buyers.

Outer sleeve -  Overall, an excellent example.

        Front - No rubbing,ring wear or record shape at all. Corners are still in great condition. Top and bottom edges are showing only minimal shelf wear. The overall colour is sharp with no sign of fading, except two small areas on the top half of the desk top.  There is a small loss of print where the original price sticker was removed near the "ink well" (see photo) and there are a couple of small thumb creases ( an inch) only on the whole cover.

        Rear - No ring wear or record shape. There are no creases and the colour is vibrant. Corners in great condition and only minimal shelf wear to edges. The legs have been removed and the right hand one has a tear but both sit lovely and flat in sleeve.

The spine has been compressed slightly, but is not creased and the lettering is perfectly legible.

Opening the desktop, reveals a perfect inner.

Labels - Both Mint. There is only the faintest trace of one short spindle line on side B

Vinyl visualy -  Mint. I have not seen a better one. There are no marks at all under normal light and only the very slightest of short, faint storage lines under intense light. An incredible record.

Vinyl play     - The record sounds fantastic. Its incredibly clear and vibrant, with great presence. It has had maybe only 2 or 3 plays. There is only the very minimal amount of vinyl surface noise, to be heard at the beginning of each side and between tracks.

Panties - Perfect, except two very small areas were "leeching" has caused a minimal "browning" from coming into contact with the record sleeve.
