Description
This is an Alice Cooper - School Days The Early Recordings gatefold double LP (73 reisssue of two 70 LPs) put out by Warner Brothers Records of Germany from 1973,WB 66021. I am not a fan of the goldmine record grading scale many use.I use a 10 scale. On a 10 scale the vinyl and jacket are an 8.75.The vinyl has some minor noise at run in and not much else. The jacket has someones name in small letters on front of jacket and some minor wear on edges & spine. No seam splits. This will be way over one pound in weight to ship so add several dollars to the shipping prices I list at the end of this paragraph.I do not recall where I bought this. This is a german reissue of Pretties For You & Easy Action LPs put out by Frank Zappa's Straight label in 1970.Alice was huge in 73 so the title is meant to be similar to School's Out no doubt. The drawing of the band on the jacket is nice, but one can be sure Alice never handled a live rattlesnake on stage.Inside the gatefold are some interesting words about the band.Side 1 & 2 is Pretties For You.It is somewhat free form and not too far from Zappa/Mothers.Side 3 & 4 is Easy Action and it is getting real close to the Detroit hard rock/Protopunk/Glam of Love it To Death. This is classic stuff and some of the songs are still brilliant. The songs are: Titanic Overture, 10 Minutes Before the Worm, Sing Low Sweet Chererio, Today Mueller, Living, Fields of Regret, No Longer Umpire, Levity Ball, B.B. On Mars, Reflected, Apple Bush, Earwings To Eternity, Changing Arranging, Mr. and Misdemeanor, Shoe Salesman, Still No Air, Below Your Means, Return of the Spiders, Laughing At Me, Refrigerator Heaven, Beautiful Flyaway and Lay Down And Die Goodbye. . . I will combine shipping and ship as cheap as possible by weight.Payment via Paypal or Cashiers Check. If you buy more than one item from me I will ship everything together and base shipping charges on the weight of the total package. I will ship all over the world. Let's expand on that since ebay wants a disclaimer now on shipping out of the USA. You need to know the customs rules of your own country. You have to pay the fees, tariffs, etc if there are any when the item gets to your country. Customs forms have to be accurate as well. I will send stuff First Class at your risk, your decision. First Class is untracked and uninsured.Well,it is somewhat trackable as to where/when it leaves the USA,but things can get sketchy when trying to use tracking number in your home country. That means if the package is lost, due to there being no/minimal tracking,it is more or less impossible to find. Even more important is that there is no insurance on it,so if it is lost your refund money is lost. No refund on lost First Class packages. Think hard about shipping Priority. It is more expensive (way more in some cases),but tracked and insured. So,even if the package was lost you get your money back. You have to decide if the risk of First Class is worth the money you save on shipping. That is up to you. Media Mail in the US is $2.53US Priority is $5.80US. Canada First class is $10.55US Priority is $28.25US. UK/Europe/South America First Class is $16.75US Priority is $42.00US. Japan/Pacific Rim First Class is $16.75US Priority is $42.50US. Australia First Class is $16.75US Priority is $39.95US.Other countries of similar location will have similar shipping prices. Priority is best, tracked and insured. I repeat,First Class is at you own risk. It is untracked(minimally tracked),so if the package is lost your refund money is lost.Having said that First Class has been doing sorta OK of late. There are horror stories of lost records though. You don't want that to happen to you.Thanks.
