Deadwax: PBL-67437-1A RB Precision – early Precision Mastering lacquer cut confirming 1995 first pressing.
This is an original 1995 U.S. first pressing of Alice In Chains’ self-titled album, often referred to as “The Dog Album” or “Tripod.”
Pressed on black vinyl with alternating purple and yellow “COLUMBIA 360 SOUND STEREO” labels.
Cut at MASTERDISK (Howie Weinberg) and housed in the embossed gatefold sleeve featuring the iconic three-legged dog artwork.
Includes both original printed lyric inner sleeves with artwork intact.
• True 1995 first pressing — not a Music on Vinyl or Legacy reissue.
• Features the original analog mastering from MASTERDISK.
• Increasingly rare as few vinyl copies were pressed during the CD era.
