Description
This is a mono pressing of a classic piece of British Jazz in the 60s. Recorded at Abbey Road, it was a follow up to Under Milk Wood, and caught the mood of the time with it's nod to psychedelia in titles like Summer Hallucinations and Afro Charlie Meets the White Rabbit. In the words of one BBC reviewer, "not a precious second wasted in 38 brilliant minutes".
The vinyl is in amazing shape for a record that's 50 years old. I would estimate it as excellent to near mint. It is smooth and shiny with very few marks. On playing there was little audible surface noise and almost no pops or clicks. The cover I would describe as very good to excellent. The front of the cover is unbroken but as you will see from the back there is some wear to the folding around the edge and a ticket mark in the top right corner. However, the cover has no tears.
This is a rare album and so is started at a price to reflect this. Please no messages asking if there is a Buy it Now option as it is auction only
I will clean it with a record cleaning machine using L'Art Du Son fluid and post it in a sturdy cardboard envelope. Delivery will be signed for. Thanks for looking.
