If for some unexplained reason you don’t have a good, listenable, clean and bright vinyl copy of this absolute must own, all time great classic set then this is the one to have. Here’s a special 3XLP, 180g pressing that was issued especially for the 40th Anniversary celebration of this George Harrison mega classic on Record Store Day 2010. Very limited to 7000 gold numbered copies WORLDWIDE (this is a low number 000595) and produced to be virtually indistinguishable from the original design in every way right down to the famous Apple shaped, clear “hype” sticker and monochromic printed album cover it also has the custom inner sleeves, poster and magnificent labels that threw everyone a curve with the smart “Apple Jam” design for the bonus studio jam LP. The guest list on this album is dizzying as Mister George Harrison announced to the universe that The Beatles creative genius wasn’t just John and Paul as this is arguably the finest album to be crafted and recorded by an ex-Beatle. The truly unique sound of this masterpiece has stood the test of time and its production value is beyond reproach. Condition wise this box set is perfect and still sealed in it’s original Shrink Wrap (please see provided photos for condition concerns). Imagine, Band o the Run, All Things Must Pass, Ringo and a healthy handful of other post Beatle releases from the immediate breakup barrage are all must haves with this release sitting somewhere on the top.
