Description

Iconic and historical spoken word album by Beat poet Allen Ginsberg.  Listening to this today it's hard to believe he was criminally prosecuted for performing this spoken word piece.  This is a first pressing on clear red vinyl released on the Fantasy label from California.  It's more than a record but instead a historical artifact.  Comes complete with a rare insert describing the story of Ginsberg's prosecution.   

I grade conservatively so that you won't be disappointed.  Based on visual grading, the LP looks VG+++++ I note spindle marks and some light haze but other than that it looks remarkably nice for a record that almost 60 years old.  The front of the jacket is mint but unfortunately someone wrote their name in the back.  This record has always been stored in a plastic sleeve. 

I use brand new, heavy gauge cardboard LP mailers to ensure the record arrives safely.  I can ship this LP for $4.00 via media mail (due to very heavy pressing and jacket) and $6.50 via priority mail - your choice.
