Description
This version of The Allman Brothers Band classic "Live At Fillmore East" appears to be an original early pressing with the updated address labels for ATCO Records of 75 Rockefeller Plaza as opposed to the 1841 Broadway address labels. The matrix numbers in the runoff groove clearly put the record in late 1971 or 1972, however the update address on the label could make it a 1973 or later pressing.
Anyway, the cover is graded Good+, there is some edge, spine and corner wear. No ring wear on this copy but there is some slight overall wear to the cover if held at an angle.
The records were cleaned on a Loricraft Audio Professional Record Cleaner and play graded. Side One gets a grade of Good+, there is scratch from early in "Statesboro Blues" that extends into "Done Somebody Wrong". It does cause a tick when playing the record. The other three sides are graded VG, there is some slight surface noise in spots, nothing that overpowers the music, overall a nice player copy of this classic LP.
If this Capricorn original doesn't sell, we'll take it for our collection!
The record ships with the original ATCO inner sleeves, we are storing the records in fresh white paper inner sleeves and we added a polyvinyl outer sleeve for added protection.
