PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!!!
THIS IS A VERY GOOD+ COMPLETE COPY OF A 1st PRESSING WITH THE TEXTURED COVER AND THE ORIGINAL INSERT!AND.... IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH, IT IS STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP(MOSTLY) WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER. THAT'S RIGHT, I SAID "HYPE STICKER"!
ALBEIT THE SHRINK IS IN ROUGH SHAPE WITH MANY TEARS & RIPS AND HYPE STICKER HAS FALLEN OFF THE SHRINK. THE PRICE STICKER HAS ALSO FALLEN OFF THE SHRINK. I PLACED THEM IN THE EXACT SPOT FOR THE PHOTOS.
GOOD LUCK FINDING A COPY OF THIS GATEFOLD COVER THAT IS STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER AS MOST PEOPLE WOULD TEAR OFF THE SHRINK TO SEE THE INSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD.
THERE IS A SECTION OF THE TOP SEAM NEAR THE SPINE THAT HAS A FEW / SCRAPES / BUMPS / DENTS IN THE TOP SEAM POSSIBLY FROM BEING TAKEN IN AND OUT OF A CABINET OR A SIMILAR HARD SURFACE CAUSING A SCRAPING / DENTING OF THE TOP SEAM. (please see pics) AND THERE IS A SPLOTCH ON THE FRONT COVER OF AN UNKNOWN ORIGIN, POSSIBLY A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT.
Up for sale is one (1) The Allman Brothers Band - Eat A Peach 2LP from 1972 on Capricorn Records (#2CP 0102).
The Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear that will cause surface noise typical with a Very Good+ grading. Even with a Very Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.Nice, clean labels with some spindle marks.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME!The textured gatefold cover is still in the original shrink wrap and is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to soft corners / corner dings, some scrapes and ring wear. NO SPLIT SEAMS.
There are large tears & rips in the shrink wrap throughout. (please see pics)
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in Very Good+ condition.
The Hype Sticker has fallen off the shrink wrap and is in very good+ condition with typical wear from age.The original price sticker is included even though it has fallen off the front shrink.
The custom information insert is in Very Good+ condition with wear that is typical with age, including, but not limited to corner dings, dings, crumples & creases, ring wear, etc... There are no tears.
The LPs come plain white inner sleeves.I obtained this LP in 1970s. It was gently played just a few times back in the day. I had other copies. Not played in many years.
