Alphonse Lee Mouzon (November 21, 1948 – December 25, 2016) was an American musician and vocalist, most prominently known as a jazz fusion drummer. He was also a composer, arranger, producer, and actor. Mouzon gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He was the owner of Tenacious Records, a label that primarily released Mouzon's recordings
Okay this is not an revolutionary album, but it is a high-Quality-production with an incredible Herbie Hancock on piano and keyboards an other fine musicians like Freddie Hubbard- AND. the title track with it's 14 minutes of jazz-funk is one of the best instrumentals in R&B ever!!

He shortly thereafter joined the Miles Davis Quintet, where he helped to redefine the role of a jazz rhythm section and was one of the primary architects of the post-bop sound. In the 1970s, Hancock experimented with jazz fusion, funk, and electro styles, using a wide array of synthesizers and electronics.
