ID no. 9007513 Title: Strauss: Also Sprach Zarathustra 45rpm Test Pressing Set Artist: Strauss: Reiner / CSO Product Condition: SS Cover Condition: M Description:  This auction is for a STILL SEALED double LP 45rpm Test Pressing marked LSC1806-45 (A1/A2 B1/B2) of Classic Records' 180gram reissue of Reiner and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Strauss: Also Sprach Zarathustra with jacket. These highly collectible test pressings are from the first stamper and less than 20 exist. Test pressings reflect the closest you can get to the lacquers and hence have a special collectible value and store of value. Lengendary 1954 Reiner/CSO performance of a Strauss war horse. Recorded directly to two track analog by Jack Pfeiffer who oversaw the Classic transfer of one of his favorite recordings hailed the Classic reissue as "definitive and spectacular". Jacket in mint condition.
