Alun Ashworth-Jones Parlophone PCS 7081 1969 - Original first press UBER RARE Acid/Psych Folk monster - 99p NO RESERVE!!!
On offer here is an original UK copy of the mega-rare album "Alun Ashworth-Jones" (Yellow/Black Parlophone PCS 7081) Stereo. Released in 1969, the album features Al Jones singing his own compositions. The other rare factor is the involvement of HAROLD McNAIR on some of the tracks!! 
Really great introspective singer-songwriter in the psychedelic acid folk genre. If ever an LP deserved the tilt of a lost classic this is one brilliant songs top musicians and that something a little bit special just listen to Siamese cat, railway lines etc just stunning the flute playing by Harold McNair is breathtaking produced by the great Sandy Robertson musicians include Harold McNair-flute, Percy Jones & Spike Heatley-bass, Brian Dodson-dr and Gordon Huntley-steel guitar.
The cover has ringwear and some creasing (every copy of this does from what I can find, Garrod and Lofthouse not up to their usual brilliance I'm afraid) but its more than solid.  The record plays well there is a click and jump on track 2, side 2 but played through its perfectly listenable and it is such a good album. Bearing all that in mind this is up for 99p so please don't bid if you want a mint copy of this album, this record is way better than just 'filler' for your collection but its not mint. Please bear that in mind. I sell records quite often and have 100% feedback so please bid with confidence.
