"Am Here Books Catalogue Five: A Collection of Post-Modern Poetry Books, Manuscripts & Letters" is a 146 page, 8.5"x11" softcover issued by the Santa Barbara, CA company in 1981. This is the limited, numbered "special" edition of 500 copies (this being No. 70). It comes with a spoken word 45rpm record (not included in the "trade" edition) by legendary Beat Generation author William S. Burroughs titled "The Last Words of Hassan-I-Sabbah," the words of which are reproduced in the book along the top of each page in ticker-tape format. 
The catalog is more than the usual dry list of rare books, as Jed Birmingham of the RealityStudio site explains: "The Am Here catalog stands out as a physical object. You just do not see booksellers expending the effort that [Richard S. E.] Aaron did here: both in terms of bibliographical research and financial expense. The cover features a Gysin drawing and flipping through its pages the prospective collector comes face to face with a huge and mind-blowing bazaar of rarities. Over 2,000 entries, many of the descriptions written by the likes of Robert Creeley, Tom Clark, and Dennis Cooper. This is a catalogue that demands to be read and savored not merely skimmed for potential purchases. The book is in good condition with various scuffs and small spots to the cover, small crease to the front top right corner. The pocket at the back that held the 45 is detached. There are no internal marks, and the binding is tight. The record is in EX condition with the lightest of scuff marks.
