Description
Released on Amalgamated Records in 1968, cat # AMG 808; this is “The Upsetter†/ “Thank You Baby†by Lee Perry.
As we are using up the available superlatives for this collection I’ll keep this brief – great records in the BEST condition you will find. You may equal them in time and a lot of searching, but you can’t better MINT or UNPLAYED. If you are new to our actions, please check out our “Me†page for the story on this amazing collection.
Both labels are clean with only one spindle mark visible. With just a light clean, both playing surfaces are unmarked and in MINT condition. Playing, with only a light clean revealed a near mint play straight out of the bag for the A-side. There are a couple of pops on the B-side in the intro and about fifteen seconds in. I cannot see anything on the vinyl that causes this, so maybe after a few plays it may disappear. As it is, the B-side grades as excellent.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
