Description

Angel ANG 64002 by Amalia Rodrigues: Sings Fado and Flamenco. Accompanied by Jaime Santos on guitarra and Santos Moreira  playing viola. 4 Fado tracks, 4 Flamenco tracks. Early 50's original USA first pressing. This cover is exceptionally clean! No splits, minimal rubwear, sharp corners with very tiny corner tip rubs.  Deep groove blue and silver labels are like new. The vinyl is very clean, with just a few faint marks. This has been played a little, very carefully. No spindle marks. The reissue of this has sold for 49.00. This is the original issue, containing the beautiful voice of Amalia Rodrigues interpreting Fado and Flamenco stylings. Haunting and beautiful.  Her earliest release on microgroove.
