Description
This is a set similar to the Summer Mailbox Invasion Kickstarter set. Amanda Palmer sent out four singles (with B sides) on coloured Vinyl, one every few weeks leading up to the September album release) alongside various activities, and the last pack contained the Companion Art Book and pair of LPs of the final Album. Amanda Palmer re-recorded The Bed Song after the release, so I can also email the successful buyer the new version, as the album plays the original version.
These were produced in a small, Kickstarter only run. There are some small flaws as a result of the manufacturing process, such as cardboard shavings in the boxes, and one cut on a slipcover that was not perfectly clean. These in no way detract from the appearance, but I wouldn't want them to be a surprise. This was exactly the condition the items arrived in.
This kit contains:
1. Theatre is Evil: Deluxe 2 x LP Backer Edition in a matte black flip-top box which also holds 12 beautiful 12"x12" Art prints, ready to frame. Never removed from slip case, never played.
2. Theatre is Evil Companion Art Book: Deluxe Backer Edition, Signed by Amanda Palmer in a metalic silver slipcase.
3. The four coloured 7" singles (also never removed from slip cases, and never played) in a matching matte black flip top box:
- Want It Back/Melody Dean on orange vinyl
- The Killing Type/Grown Man Cry on red vinyl
- Do It With A Rock Star/Lost on blue vinyl
- Massachusetts Ave/Denial Thing on clear vinyl
4. 1 opened (but unused) pack of 'Art/Not Art' stickers
5. 12 Postcards containing Art/Not Art Photos
6. Never used "My Fucking Book About Me"
7. 1 thank-you pop up 3d postcards
8. All 4 letters (opened along the top edge) received with the packages.
This is a lovely collection, and I'll be sad to see it gone. I'm hoping it goes to a happy home where the LPs are played often.
This kit is missing the large card frame and sticker sheets that were sent in one of the packages, unfortunately they did not travel well. I also have the embossed Backer Journal (an unlined 7"x5" Moleskine) which I would be happy to include if you would like it, however it has been used and will therefore be missing the first few pages.
The 'extras' (everything except the vinyls and the Companion Art Book) can be excluded if you like, it should take around 1kg off the shipping weight.
I encourage local pickup, as shipping such a weight and size can be quite expensive! I will only ship insured, tracked, and with a signature, due to the value of the set. Happy to ship internationally, but you will need to contact me for a quote.
