Description

This is a no reserve auction for the following LP vinyl record:

Artist: Bud Powell

Title: The Amazing Bud Powell Vol. 1

Year: 1949

Cat #  Blue Note 1503

Vinyl Condition: NM

Cover Condition: VG+/NM

Comments: Cover is in great condition with mildest of rub wear. There is a large crease to upper right corner, but not to the extent that the paper is ripped or anything. On the same corner in the back there are two small pen marks. All writing is crisp and clear. The cover still retains the original shine...a real beauty for a record of this age!  Vinyl is very clean and shiny!! You might find two or three of those hairline type sleeve swipes, but they are inaudible. Labels are excellent and have the Lexington Ave. address across them. Vinyl is packaged in the original Blue Note sleeve in excellent condition. This thing belongs in a museum! Beautiful!!!

All records are shipped in heavy corrugated record mailers.

My shipping price is for the Con. US. only, all other destinations will be a flat rate of $15.

I will be listing more vintage Jazz records in the next few weeks from such labels as Prestige, Verve, Blue Note among others...so keep watching.

**** NOTE TO BUYERS****

I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.

M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) -  Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attatched, or small seam splits.

G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.

P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
