Original Pee Vee pressing of this rare Northern Soul Classic,Too Much of a Good Thing by the Ambassadors. B side is Whole Lotta Soul. This is a BRAND NEW record—never been played—in the original sleeve. No disappointments. Offered for sale by one of the original members of the Ambassadors, who played on the record. When we recorded this single in Philadelphia in 1965, I was a sixteen year old saxophonist, a sophomore in high school. The Ambassadors played together through the end of 1966, but most of the original members reunited in 1984 for a reunion concert, which led to eight more years of music, playing the sweet soul sounds of the sixties for reunions, parties, and benefit concerts. We’ve played together for several special concerts since, the most recent being in October, 2004.
Remember: THIS IS A BRAND NEW, NEVER BEEN PLAYED ORIGINAL RECORD IN ORIGINAL SLEEVE! You won’t ever find a better example of this Northern Soul Classic!
