Description
Anbrose Slade - Beginnings rare vinyl album. This is a really interesting item for any Slade fan it was released in the 1990's (about 1992 I think) as far as I can find out it's either not an official re release or it's a semi official release it is different from the original release in that it has a Matt not a Gloss sleeve and the Fontana Record label is black and white not blue and white I have read s story in Record Collector magazine that when Noddy Holder was asked to autograph a copy of this release he had no knowledge of its release but was amazed how good it was and happily signed it.
I purchased it new and have never played it (I have it on CD) so the vinyl is mint the cover has a few small things when I divorced my ex stored my vinyl until I could pick it up and somehow has managed to crease the bottom left hand corner and there is a scuff along the spine (not a tear it looks like the seam is split it isn't it's just been scuffed and the surface has lifted) they are both very small and hardly noticeable other than that the record is mint.
This is a really rare version of the album I'm not sure how many were pressed but I don't think it was that many
Great album includes 'Martha My Dear' 'Mad Dog Cole' and 'Roach Daddy'
