Description
On offer here is a copy of Beginnings by Ambrose Slade (who shortly after dropped the "Ambrose" to become just "Slade")
This pressing was produced by the Record Collector magazine as part of their Rare Vinyl Limited Edition series of pressings. There were 750 copies of this album pressed, and each came with a laminated Certificate of Authenticity signed by the editor at the time, Ian Shirley.
This is number 350 of 750 copies, which quickly sold out.
As a subsriber to the magazine I ordered this when it was advertised, but once received I did not play it, but kept it in a polythene sleeve ever since, it is therefore Mint and Unplayed.
This album also comes with a gatefold insert giving details of the album and a postcard sized insert advertising the others in the series.
There is also a letter that I received with the album apologising for the delay in sending it, and giving the reasons.
The record, cover and all inserts are as I received them and are MINT.
This is now a sought afer series by collectors and few have been offered for sale.
The record will be sent outside of it's cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12" cardboard stiffeners, in a heavy duty record envelope made by Covers 33.
