Description

This reissue of Ambrose Slade’s album Beginnings was originally released in 1969, and shows the roots of Slade, including cover versions of Ted Nugent, Frank Zappa, the Moody Blues, the Beatles and Marvin Gaye. Slade wrote three songs themselves “out of total fear” according to bassist Jim Lea. The record was briefly reissued to cash in on Slade’s success, but quickly withdrawn, making this a highly collectible record. It’s in pristine condition. There are no flaws in the vinyl. The sleeve has some very minor folds, which were there at the time of purchase and which don’t detract from the overall condition.
