This 12" vinyl LP is from the British band Amebix, titled Arise! It was the second album by this band from Bristol, England UK, and it's on the Alternative Tentacles label, pressed in the US. This copy is the remastered and reissued US pressing from 2000 and the matrix code in the dead wax margin indicates this: Virus -243 A-1. I bought this sometime around 2004 from a used record store. It did not come with the bonus 7" single. Also from all indications concerning details about this pressing the cover info does not match the matrix code. I think the person who removed the single may have switched covers as well. The information on the cover is only present on the 2004 reissue where the word "unreleased" is mispelled as "unreleaed". All this minutia aside the vinyl is in Excellent Condition, bordering closer to Near Mint. That goes for the cover and the inner sleeve with lyrics. The band sounds a little like Chaos UK., Disorder, a bit like Discharge with some Celtic Frost thrown in for good measure. Brilliant that the guitars sound like flies towards the end of the track titled "Drink and Be Merry". Great record for fans of Doom,Crust and Punk.
