Description

Here is an original "American Top 40" 8LP set, with Casey Kasem as host, presenting the greatest hits of 1975 -- the Top 100 year-end extravaganza!  Highest bidder will enjoy having this show, just in time for its 30-year anniversary.  This item consists of two 4LP box sets dated December 27, 1975 and January 3, 1976.  The Top 100 list used for this program comes from Billboard magazine, complete with records tied at #97, #71, #66, and #27.

One box is solid with lid and corners intact, and the other has a separate lid with 3 of 4 corners split.  Base on the second box is solid.  This radio broadcast comes with original blue cue sheets, eight pages in all. 

LPs have been visually graded (vg to vg+) with occasional light scuffs and scratches, and were likely played no more than 2 or 3 times.  These LPs were obtained by seller more than 25 years ago and have been kept in a dry, non-smoking environment.  Also note that this particular vinyl program set was never distributed to a radio station.

Music includes Disco Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes (at #100!!), Elton John, Sammy Johns, Olivia Newton-John, Morris Albert, Carpenters, America, Freddie Fender, Ray Stevens, Rufus, Mike Post, ELO Electric Light Orchestra, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney (can you believe it -- Starr and McCartney are back-to-back in this countdown), Al Green, Amazing Rhythm Aces, Neil Sedaka, Jethro Tull, Harry Chapin, Barry Manilow, Jessi Colter, Michael Murphy, Billy Swan, Barry White, 10 cc, Eagles, John Denver, Glen Campbell, Carl Douglas, Bee Gees, Dawn, War, Major Harris, Average White Band, and many more!  No network commercials included.
