RECORD: VG (strong)
NOTES: US 1972 promo labels release. Record grade is strict visual, but it plays well and is mostly pretty loud so music tends to hide any minor surface noise. Side A label has ink initials. Cover has some ink writing, cutout punch hole, ring wear, and bottom center seam wear with partial split.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
