Description

You are bidding on the first pressing of The Mars Volta's debut classic, "Amputechture" (2-LP).  This is an extremely rare pressing and an instant collector's item for you to own in absolutely flawless condition. Played 1-2 times when it first came out. Sounds mind bogglingly good as you can expect on gorgeous vinyl.

This set contains the original “creamsicle” vinyl picture discs, which is creamy white and orange swirls. Beautiful when it’s still, jaw dropping when it spins. The vinyl itself is in perfect shape, in large part because I never really played the record. I don’t play my collectibles much as a rule.

Production notes: this was the first TMV album to feature artwork by the amazing Jeff Jordan, who happens to be a personal friend of mine. Also features John Frusciante (of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) on full-time lead guitar, a role which he would fill regularly for the next few TMV albums.
