Item description

This auction is for a Record Store Day release from last year, an absolutely beautiful album by Skunk Anansie - an acoustic gig live in London. It’s new and sealed (as I have another copy - bought 2 by accident as I was worried about missing out on this one!)

I’ve owned it from new. No pets or cigarettes around them at all.

I’m having a wife enforced (although she’s right I have way too much stuff) clear out of a lot of Lego, neca figures, comic books and video games and it will take all year so do follow me if that’s your thing. Will be getting listed gradually as I can’t cope packing and posting all of it at once!

I'm not a business seller I'm just a normal guy with a 5 day a week job and a family having a fairly Major clear out so I can't always respond, dispatch, provide photos etc immediately but I will do it as soon as I possibly can.

If there is to be a delay I will message you and let you know.

Posting happens for me only on Saturdays.

Anything to be posted that Saturday needs to be bought and paid for on Thursday. If paid for after that I’ll try and get it out for you the Saturday but I can’t guarantee it.

CONDITION

As stated above I'm just a normal guy having a clear out I'm not a business seller and I'm not a collector of the items I've come across although I'm aware that a lot of what I sell is now collectable.

I don't know how to categorise as 'mint' etc and to be honest most other people's uses of words like that tend to vary massively between each seller so they become quite pointless as one persons 'mint' is another's 'good used' so I try not to use them.

Please examine the photos and make your own judgement and bid accordingly. I'll try and answer questions but I'm not an expert. I'll try to describe and picture things as best I can with anything I notice about the item that I would be aware of or that I think you may want to know about the item. There may be other things and pics you want to know or see if so please let me know.

I'm not as fussy about condition as other people are these are all second hand items and have all been bought by me in the past via the net so they have been in the post and bashed about a bit accordingly, many of these items I have bought second hand myself and may well be third fourth and who knows how many hand! so please check you're happy with the condition in the pics before bidding or buying. If you aren't happy and it was in the pictures or the description then there is obviously nothing I can do about it.

I may have missed small details about Condition because they wouldn't have been important to me or I haven't noticed them because I'm not a collector of its a book I bought it to read, models to build, games to play etc. If you're very keen on condition you may disagree or be unhappy as most items are used assuming I've had time to get round to using it. If it's new ill have marked it as such.

So please do check. I've not deliberately missed anything out so it's likely all I can do is pass more pics but I try and put as many pics on the auctions as poss so that you have the info when deciding to bid.

I've put as much detail as I can into the listing. All items are sold as seen in the pictures and description. If you have specific condition questions (please don't message asking for opinions about categorisations or saying 'is it mint'...) then please ask before buying or bidding or you accept the condition as it is in the auction.

I'm more than happy to provide extra photos upon request. So please ask before buying.

ALL items come from a pet and smoke free home. The second hand items I have bought have all been as such so none of the items I sell have any smoke or pet hair.

POSTAGE:

Can you collect the item?

Yes I'm In Beeston in Nottingham. You can collect from my home or during work (also in Beeston) by prior agreement. Both are in Beeston. You will need to work around my availability (I work!) but I will do all I can to help.

Will I meet you somewhere local with it?

If it's lower than £100 then no I definitely won't.

If it's over £100 I may be able to but I won't be able to travel far and the times I can do it are very limited unless the value is very high. We as a family have 1 car and kids so I'm limited as to when it is spare!

So you mostly need to either have it shipped or come and collect it. But you can always ask. Don't buy an item assuming I'll deliver it or meet you somewhere as there is a good chance that i won't be able to. So please message me I'm happy to help if I can.

General Postage Conditions of my Auctions - who is responsible for what?

I always get proof of postage and take a photo of the package internally and externally before dispatch. It will be insured and all items need signing for no exceptions even low value items.

In the happily unlikely event that the package arrives with damage

I use Royal Mail so I don't have the issues that tend to occur with Hermes and yodel etc.

If there is damage when you get the package then you MUST take photos of the package before opening it as evidence of the damage being caused in transit. You MUST also point it out to the person delivering. If you do not do this you are accepting the package In that condition and so you then may struggle to get compensation. I will help you to get compensation if I can by providing the receipts, photos of the condition before dispatch etc but if damage has occurred in the post YOU will need to deal with Royal Mail and I'll provide you with the Proof of postage and receipt etc you need to do that. But it will be for YOU to deal with this.

in the unlikely event that you do not receive your parcel at all and no one has signed for it and is not returned to me as the sender

I will liase with the post office and claim the refund. It will be fully insured so neither you nor I will lose out. You will need to provide the evidence they need that the item has not been received (usually an email) but if more is needed you will need to pass this to me before the refund can be processed.

If the item has been signed for and you claim not to have not received it

then YOU will need to deal with the post office (or your house mates/work mates!) to get your refund or for your housemates/workmates to give you your stuff!

Thus far I've had no problems with items going missing or being damaged as a seller as I always ship signed for and insured with good packaging see my 100% feedback.

Global Shipping

I only ship internationally via ebays global shipping programme. I will not ship directly to you internationally so please don't ask.

Global Shipping Fees - please be aware that eBay set the price for this method of shipping and I have absolutely no control. I don't even get to see what they are charging you for it. If you are unhappy with their rates please do not buy/bid.

alternative methods of postage

please feel free to ask if you have a suggestion on other postage methods. They are however at your own risk. I use Royal Mail and Argos because I am familiar with them and they have been reliable for me.

Cost of shipping and combined shipping

I will try to combine shipping to save you money. However usually eBay makes sellers take a loss on the postage where the real cost of shipping is higher than the maximum sellers can charge.

for example cost may be £15 (often the case with marvel omnibus') they let me charge a maximum of £8.50 or so. I will therefore not be able to offer combined postage on such items as 2 lots of postage may still not cover the actual cost of shipping the 2 items.

If you don't ask before you buy please don't be annoyed if I can't offer combined postage on multiple items purchased. I will if I can but its not always possible so please assume that it is not possible unless you ask in advance.

PACKAGING

I package items as well as I can. But I am not Amazon! I do not have limitless boxes and packaging. If it's valuable I will try to do everything I can to preserve its condition in transit. See below for specifics.

Prints.

Will be shipped in a sturdy tube with acid free paper. The tube will be well secured and the print will not be coiled too tightly.

I do not ever ship flat please don't ask.

The coa will be in the tube with the print. I will take a picture of the tube and the coa being in it so don't throw away the packaging!

Thin book/dvds/video games

will be posted wrapped in brown paper. I do not put bubble wrap on them as that thickens them up to a large letter size and prices go up. If your game/blu Ray is over £20 and you want some bubble wrap as well then let me know and I'll sort it for you although it may put it into a higher postage bracket and you will need to pay the difference.

Large valuable books

Eg marvel omnibus' will be shipped with bubble Wrap and if I can they will be shipped in a box.

if the value is above £150 I'll pop it in a box for you with bubble wrap.

General postage terms

Items are posted in the manner in which I would be happy to receive them.

I will always post an item so that it is fully insured. I will not ever under any circumstances under declare the value of items to save shipping costs or customs duty either for you or for me.

If an item is returned to me as the sender and delivery has been attempted but you have not collected it from the post office I will re ship it to you but it will be at your expense. You will not be entitled to a refund due to you not collecting it. You will pay the second shipping cost via PayPal before it is dispatched a second time.

You will always need to sign for your item to confirm receipt. If the item has been signed by someone at your address and it is missing then it will be for you to deal with the post office (or housemates/work colleagues!) I'll scan you the proof of postage, receipt etc.

I have tried to get good quality packaging materials in order to save bidders money rather than charging for packing materials, so if it will post as a large letter, will have listed it in this way so its cheaper for you. The postage costs that eBay charge are not always sufficient to cover the actual cost of postage. I do not charge extra in these circumstances.

I only ship abroad via the global shipping programme. There are no exceptions to this. See above.

RETURNS

Happily I have never had anyone ask to return items to me but for clarity I am Selling unwanted items only, therefore I am not able to facilitate returns if You change your mind.

I have tried to describe, display and give as much detail on each item as possible, but will do my best to answer any questions (sometimes in too much detail – which might make the item seem worse condition than it actually is!).

Shipping times

I am selling a lot of items at any one time so I will endeavour to get them off to you the within 24 hours of payment. It will never be longer than 5 working days even in busy periods but I'm selling a lot of bits and a lot of them are very heavy so walking to work with lots of them is impossible! They will go out as quickly as possible and I will make sure that I keep you informed of my progress and when it will be shipped.

If there is a delay caused by me not being able to get to the post office I'll pay to up the delivery to first class to try and get it to you in similar timescales but please be aware I can't always get it out next day (although 90% does go within 24 hours of payment) I will ship ASAP and no later than 5 days.
