Description
"The Sex Pistols" 45rpm 7" vinyl single, in original EMI Australia sleeve. Recording released by EMI (Australia) Ltd on a black and white label, cat: EMI-11334, year 1976. Matrix numbers are: EMI11334-A and -B, on the inner grooves. On label is states "Made in Australia"
Titles: "Anarchy in the U.K." c/w "I wanna be me", both sides produced by Chris Thomas. This Australian version of their first single release was pulled from the market due to the band being dropped by EMI following notorious events in the U.K.
It is an extremely rare item then and now, since another release of these recordings by EMI Australia are in standard EMI label colours not this special release black and white. It is an original first release, genuine item. As new condition, no scratches or marks on vinyl. The EMI Australia sleeve is the one it was purchased in. Has been stored cool and dry since purchased new at time of release at "Light and Sound" shop in Liverpool, NSW, Australia. Will be shipped insured or pick-up per arrangement.
