Andrew Hill  Black fire  w.Joe Henderson  Blue Note (US) blue-white NY mono label - recorded at Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on November 9, 1963 - original 1964 first issue - on dead wax both sides has stamped 'Van Gelder' and has the 'ear' - on bottom back cover has the address Blue Note Records Inc., 43 West 61st St., New York 23    Andrew Hill : piano - Joe Henderson : tenor sax - Richard Davis : bass - Roy Haynes : drums Side 1 :  Pumpkin  -  Subterfuge  -  Black fire Side 2 :  Cantarnos - Tired trade - McNeil island - Land of nod All compositions by Andrew Hill   Visual grading : record is EX+ to Near Mint- full lustre has very light wear. Clean labels with minimal spindle wear    Playing grading : record plays EX+ it sounds very well - some very light occasional tics  Cover grading : cover is VG to VG+ has light wear to edges and corners. Has a light crease on bottom left corner and has a small shop's sticker on top right side of back cover
