Description

This is a copy of the LP Compulsion by Andrew Hill, first pressing mono US issue from 1967 on Blue Note BLP 4217.

The etched matrices are  BNLP - 4217 A  and  BNLP - 4217 B  with  VAN GELDER  stamped into both sides.

The vinyl is in Near Mint condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes. The labels are spotless with no stains, spindle lines, writing, stickers or scuffs.

The cover is in Very Good Plus condition. There are no stickers, tape, ring wear, tears or splits. There is a little rubbing to the bottom edge, a small name written on the back (in the top right hand corner) and a little age discolouration one the front, near the top edge. The spine is perfectly readable and the cardboard feels crisp and solid. The address of Blue Note is written as  43 West 61st St., New York 23

The original 27 years Blue Note 1939 - 1966, paper inner sleeve just has a few faint handling creases.
