Description

Up for auction is an original mono pressing of the Andrew Hill 'Point Of Departure' LP on Blue Note Records BLP-4167. The other musicians include Kenny Dorham, Eric Dolphy, Joe Henderson, Richard Davis, and Anthony Williams.

Record info:

Excellent with minor surface noise. It plays and sounds great!

Cover info:

Strong VG+ with solid seams with minor wear. The back cover has some minor artwork blemishing which slightly obscures a small area of text. The cover has moderate dishing from previous improper storage which probably could be flattened out fairly easily. It comes with the original Blue Note Records inner sleeve.

Label / Pressing info:

Original NY label mono press with Van Gelder stamp and Ear logo in the dead wax on both sides.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
