Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / near excellent Condition " grade for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in greater detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and is clearly unplayed . Even with these i am wary because if the record has been stored for years in maybe a damp garage or loft etc and has not been opened , then we can only presume it should be mint because we obviously can't actually see the record . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use between Very Good and near excellent most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much at all , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest and small surface hairline marks only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , ie better than very good and closer to near ( if not actually ) excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly between Very Good and near excellent , but with very detailed descriptions also of which i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality and type of turntable / amps and stylus etc that are being used , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Please note, all records are packed in proper pro card mailers with a minimum of 3 stiffeners for LP’s and 2 for 7" singles ( more if i think they are needed ) . CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection.

Andrew Ridgeley Red Dress Very Rare 7" UK Town House Acetate See Details . Here we have a very rare UK The Town House acetate from Andrew Ridgeley ( Wham ) , it is the 7" single - Red Dress . The disc is single sided and please note that the disc itself does measure approx 8" . Please also note that this is an acetate so i have not put this through my vacuum cleaning machine , this is purely because i did not want to risk anything reacting with the lacquer on the disc so the disc , other than a quick wipe over with a soft record cleaning cloth , is in the same condition as when i got it .
COVER: Die cut ( on one side , solid on the other , please see photos ) paper sleeve generally in a strong near excellent condition . I am pretty sure that this is not the original as it appears to be a Japanese sleeve , but obviously as the disc comes out at an odd size , they could obviously have been ordered in by Town House . There are just a very very very few extremely light and small general age related / surface / handling marks in places . The usual but light only ring wear marks are present and there is some very light creasing / denting in places and the usual slightly more prominent creases / dent lines caused by the impression of the outer edge of the record towards the corners . Some normal useage / age related wear on the opening edges and a couple of very tiny knicks , but mainly just a bit of very light dent and soft crease wear . Some usual but very small bits of wear on the corners and a bit of general light rub wear on the edges , the sleeve is writing free , as i said previously , obviously i can't confirm if this is the original sleeve .
LABELS: Solid centre light tan / light brown print paper label on the playing side and a plain white paper label on the non playing " B " side , generally in excellent condition , but there is the usual artist name , catalogue number and song title written on the playing side label , which would have been done at the time of manufacture , bar this , both labels are still nice and clean with just a very very few usual but light and small spindle marks , both labels are writing free .
RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a very strong near excellent condition though do bear in mind that acetates do have a much duller finish to the actual playing surface , there are just a very very very few extremely light and fine mostly whispy type ( certainly non feelable and non sounding ) hairline surface marks , there are no nasty feelable gouges / nasty scratches whatsoever on the playing surface , i will also say that a lot of these finer hairlines are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please do note that there are some usual amounts of marks visible on the shiny uncut non playing surfaces of the record and on the blank non playing side , the grading given for this record refers to the actual playing surface . I actually must say that this is one of the best sounding acetates that i have come across in recent years . Please see below for audio description .
AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but very light noise . It plays superbly for an acetate , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really nothing at all in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , there was no nasty crackle and no nasty ticks , there may just have been the odd couple of faint isolated pops in places that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but very very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic and the audio tones are still awesome and as i said , this is one of the best sounding acetates that i have come across in recent years .
AUDIO B SIDE: N/A - Single sided record .
There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .

** Please note that i will use either a thin cardboard box or a cut down 12" card record mailer for this one as it obviously won't fit into a standard 7" mailer , this may take it over the size and weight limit for a large letter , so i have based the postage charges on a small parcel as it would be for a 12" record , if on posting , i find it was ok for a large letter then i will do a partial refund on these charges as soon as i get back from the post office to bring it back in line as a large letter , i just wanted to point this out as i didn't want you to think i was being too expensive with my postage charges for this one , thank you . **
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear . There will be some light only surface marks though most will be just fine hairlines , there will be no major deterioration in sound quality at all though some amount of light noise / occasional light pop may be present in places especially on some of the quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , the record will play through perfectly , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for quite a while now , this now other recent price increase , has seen me unfortunately have to put a slight increase on my postage charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers , jiffy bags , stiffeners , other packaging materials etc .
