Andrew Wartts and The Gospel Storytellers- There Is A God Somewhere, released by Champ Records (LP 1962) in Stereo in the early 1980's out of Nashville, TN.  Original Pressing!- (see photos).

*You're looking at an album of true "Holy Grail" status.  Andrew Wartts and his group delivered some of the most righteous, supreme Gospel Funk on wax here.  This is not just an album, it's a journey.  This is an unbelievably impressive LP, and this copy sounds absolutely wonderful!  The Numero Group label recently featured Wartts' "Peter and John" on their compilation, Good God: Born Again Funk.  This is the absolute original pressing of this gem!  The band features Oliver Sain's great guitarist Earl Wright and one seriously funky drummer, the young Jesse Jones Jr.  Check out the sound clip to dig the sounds.*

The Vinyl is visually-graded in VG+ condition.  When looked at under a very bright light, the record shows a very rich luster and a few, incredibly light surface marks.  This has likely only been played a handful of times ever and sounds like a near mint record.  Listen to the sound clip to get an accurate impression of how great it sounds.

The Cover is still in its shrink and is graded in VG+ condition, just showing some incredibly minor edge wear.  It's hard to imagine finding another copy that looks this nice!
