Description
This item is a MEGA RARE ORIGINAL 1956 7" ep on the RCA VICTOR label from ARTIE SHAW and his Orchestra.
It features 4 songs from the RCA Album "Both Feet In The Groove" and also the original cover art by ANDY WARHOL.
It was released as a special edition "Jukebox" single for the RCA "45 EP COLLECTORS" series. the label features the classic RCA Dog logo, and the record is a large hole for Jukebox use.
Side A: Jungle Drums, Solid Sam
Side B: Comin' On, One Night Stand
The sleeve is in GOOD+ condition.. there is minimal ring wear seen on the cover, and the top and bottom edges are beginning to separate near the opening to the sleeve. but the art is still in great condition, and this sleeve would look great in a frame... (it IS Warhol art after all.. )
The vinyl is also in Good condition.. it has visible wear and scuff, but plays fine on a normal balanced turntable (at least it did on mine)
this record sleeve with the Warhol art is kinda hard to find.. as most jukebox owners thru away the sleeves and just put the records into their machines without any thought about saving them for future value.
this is a great piece for a Big Band fan, or Record Art collector.
