4 OR 5 hairline nail marks in Bands 3 and 4 that should only sound a bit with an excellent cleaning.
SIDE 2: EXC-
BAND 1 IS VERY CLEAN. NO MARKS.
BAND 2 HAS 3 1” NAIL MARKS AT THE END OF BAND 2. IT LOOKS LIKE ONE OF THESE COULD SOUND A BIT.
COVER: EXC-/VG+ TAPED TOP EDGE COVERS A SPLIT OF ABOUT 2 INCHES. THERE IS MINIMAL WEAR ON THE BOTTOM.
This auction is for the Angel 35137 deluxe edition LP with the dowel spine on the inner sleeve. Johanna Martzy is violinist, with Paul Kletzki conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra in Johannes Brahms Violin Concerto in D Major, opus 77. A deeply moving recording, a strikingly beautiful performance captured in lush clarity. Past copies of this extremely RARE and highly desirable pressing in VG condition have sold for upwards of 200 dollars.
