Description

Maria Callas personified the ideal of a "diva" during the golden age of opera.  Whether at the Met or at La Scala she brought a powerful presence to each of her roles that electrified audiences over the world.  Simply put she didn't play the role - the role came to life.   
Angel records cost a bit more back in the 60's because they were known for having some of the top musical artists as well as having vinyl with a quiet background.    You can be the judge for yourself with this mint recording.  Buy it today and play it on your Linn/Thorens or whatever.  Please note that there is a tear in the cellophane on the lower front cover due to the wooden dowel rubbing on it and the recording is in mono.
