Description
Angels ORIG 1st Press OZ LP Face to face EX ’78 Blue/Yellow Albert APLP031
Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1978 on Albert Records. Cat: APLP031. Comes in a gatefold sleeve.Face to Face proper is replete with great track after great track. The song-writing team of Brewster-Neeson-Brewster is reaching full potential and the band has truly found its sound: great riffs, memorable guitar solos (which are often very melodic), excellent off-beat lyrics and very catchy choruses. While nobody really sounds like The Angels, they still manage to ring so accessible; Straight Jacket, After the Rain, Take a Long Line and Be With You are excellent examples of this seeming paradox but really the entire album wins the day.
Tracks : Straight jacket/ After the rain/ Love takes care/ Take a long line/ Marseilles/ Live it up/ Be with you/ Outcast/ I ain’t the one/ Comin’ down.
There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Gatefold sleeve has minor scuffing on corners and some tiny surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.
Payment is accepted by Paypal. Within Australia we also accept Direct deposit transfer and Australia Post Money Orders.
