Angels & Airwaves - I-Empire (Interscope Vinyl Collective Edition Black & Blue Opaque Mix Vinyl)

Welcome to my store! As a vinyl enthusiast, I’m thrilled to offer this exclusive IVC edition of a soaring alternative rock classic from Tom DeLonge’s post-Blink-182 project.

• Condition: Factory-sealed with seam splits along the top of sleeve— unopened, and perfect for collectors or fans.
• Exclusive Release: Released May 2025 by Geffen Records through the Interscope Vinyl Collective, this I-Empire 2LP is limited to 3,000 hand-numbered copies worldwide on black and blue opaque mix vinyl. Featuring a bonus track, “Everything’s Magic (Acoustic Version),” blue color-shift alternate cover art, custom printed sleeves, and a bonus four-pack of I-Empire photo cards, it’s an IVC subscriber-only release via interscope.com.
• Packaging: Housed in a matte-finish gatefold jacket with foil-stamped numbering, the black and blue mix vinyl complements the album’s cosmic vibe. Includes two custom printed inner sleeves and a four-pack of collector’s photo cards, though some note thin vinyl and potential warping or sleeve creases from IVC’s mailers (this copy is sealed and intact unless stated otherwise).
• Sound Quality: A 13-track alternative rock epic at 45 RPM, featuring “Call to Arms,” “Everything’s Magic,” “Breathe,” “Secret Crowds,” “Sirens,” and the bonus “Everything’s Magic (Acoustic Version).” Produced by Tom DeLonge and Critter, it blends U2-inspired guitars with techno-industrial flourishes. Discogs fans praise its “studio-like clarity” and “better mids” than prior pressings, though some report surface noise, clicks, or pops, especially on “Star of Bethlehem.”
• Why It’s Special: Originally released in 2007, I-Empire is Angels & Airwaves’ sophomore album, hailed by Billboard as a “sweeping conceptual piece”. This IVC edition, with its exclusive packaging and bonus track, ties into the band’s 2025 resurgence, making it a must for AVA fans, vinyl collectors, or anyone vibing to DeLonge’s philosophical anthems.
