Description

This extremely well cared for vinyl album has been in my personal collection from new, but is now for sale as I haven’t had a turntable for many years and hence it is not being played.

 

The attached photographs are of the actual item which I hope will convey the quality of the disk and sleeves.

 

Grading of vinyl LPs seems to be very much a matter of personal opinion, so please judge from the pictures. 

However, my view is as follows:-

I consider the disk to be at least at the top end of Excellent, and possibly Near Mint, based on visual inspection.

I think the gatefold outer sleeve is also at the top end of Excellent with only light signs of use.  However, the edge of the front leaf has become unglued over time, and although this doesn’t really detract from the overall appearance it could easily be re-glued if that was preferred (again please judge from the photographs).

The inner lyric sleeve is pristine except for a small amount of wear from the disk on the bottom edge.  However, this is limited to 4cms (see photos) as the disk was transferred to a proprietary poly-lined inner sleeve as soon as the issue became apparent, and the lyric sleeve has been unused since.

 

The Matrix numbers may be of particular interest to audio enthusiasts or collectors as they have A2U and B2U suffixes. I read them as:-

 

Side 1 – SHVL 815 A 2U

 

Side 2 – SHVL 815 B 2U
