Description
This is ARS Records G-426, Anita O'Day Anita Sings For Oscar, a deep groove, blue label original mono issue of this Jazz vocal classic featuring the Oscar Peterson Trio (Herb Ellis and Ray Brown) with Jo Jones. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. I believe that it was never played, or only played once before I play graded it. The cover is the plastic generic cover for all ARS releases and is excellent and intact. The wonderful four page insert booklet with extensive notes by Bill Simon is excellent as well. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. Contemporaneous reviews collected by the original owner are included. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this wonderful original recording.
