Description: Anna Erhard Change is inevitable. The 30 year old Anna Erhard from Berlin writes songs about states of movement: They are about leaving, about escape and transformation. She often draws on texts and motifs from her diary-like recordings and then grinds them into pieces. At first it was difficult for her to let go. After years as the head of the Basel band Serafyn, she left the band and the city behind and thus gave in to the desire to change her place of residence and to create the musical comfort zone. For a long time she had suppressed this feeling. Too typical for her fast-moving generation, which was flooded with possibilities, this step seemed to have occurred to her at first. This new start, however, provided her with space and time for musical expeditions and offered her an unknown freedom. So in two and a half years, between band and line-up changes, songs were created that carry Anna Erhard's own language and tell of this turbulent time. She often draws on texts and motifs from her diary-like recordings and then grinds them into pieces together with Berlin producer Pola Roy. The first single "One Minute Of Silence" is an elegant piece of music. It is calm and contented in itself, but has a sharp, bittersweet tone. The arpeggiated bass runs nestle against a reduced guitar pattern, which is surrounded by subtle synths and the voice. The song is accompanied by an aesthetic, surreal DIY video. Anna Erhard will also be touring soon. After a long isolation of the songs "they have to be heard to be understood".
