But first things first: Financial sponsors behind Four Seasons In Jazz are Gary Koh from loudspeaker manufacturer Genesis Advanced Technologies in the USA and Wuti Larnroongroj from Brilliance Music in Thailand. The two complained that there are hardly any new records using the ultimate direct-to-disc process, in which the music is recorded live in the studio and cut directly into a vinyl for LP production.
The background to this misery is very simple: only a few artists dare to do it. Post-processing is impossible and all songs on one LP side have to be played through one after the other without any errors.
