Another Beatles Christmas Record - As can be seen in the photographs this lot contains not only the original sleeve and flexi disc but also the original newsletter.
This single is fifty years old next month and does show signs of its age in the fact the cover has discoloured somewhat but is still in very good condition in general. There are a couple of marks at the flap on the back cover and a couple of marks on the newsletter but other than that the whole package including the flexi disc is in excellent shape and condition
This was the only Beatles Fan Club Christmas record that played at 45 RPM instead of 33 1/3 RPM. Includes the classic "Jingle Bells," individual greetings from the band and the ending jingle "Can You Wash Your Father's Shirts?"
Recorded on the same day that they recorded Honey Don't for Beatles For Sale.
US Fan Club members received the 1963 Christmas message this year.
