Description

Great rare classical find!  This is Beethoven - Symphony No. 4 in B Flat Major, Op. 60 - Coriolan Overture - performed by L'Orchestre de la Suiss Romande under the direction of Ernest Ansermet.  On the black Decca Stereo label (SXL 2116) from the UK, this original wide band, deep groove disc is in excellent shape.  Both sides look to be an easy VG++ if not slightly better.  Just a few scattered surface marks that appear to be from handling.  Nice clean labels with no spindle marks evident.  A really nice disc overall.  Has a little bit of surface lint and could use a good expert cleaning before play.  Should play great.  Comes in original laminated, fold-over outer jacket - I believe they call this the "scalloped" edge jacket as you can from the pics.  Jacket is pretty nice overall and clean.  Does have some shelfwear, more notable on the reverse.  Quite presentable.  What you see in the pics is what you will get.  Don't let this original SXL get away.  Starting it low to see where it goes.  Good luck to all bidders and enjoy!  (All my albums are shipped in sturdy record mailers by USPS Media Mail)
