Nice Early Pressing of Harry Smith's Anthology Of American Folk Music Volume 2. Box is intact but with some wear and splits on corners and sides. Vinyl is solid EX. This is most likely a late 50's pressing specifically after 1958, You will notice in the photos that Disc 1 is FP 252 which is the pre-1958 pressing while Disc 2 is FA 2952 so after Folkways changed their numbering system circa 1958. I would say that this is less a mis-matched set than common Moe Asch/Folkways practice to ship out whatever they had on hand at the time. In any case I have seen this type of thing before in many years of collecting Folkways LP's. No Booklet.
I will clean records that need cleaningafter the pictures are taken and before the LP is graded so if a picture ofa vinyl looks somewhat dirty, please note, it will be cleaned.

Grading: Cover/Vinyl ( double LPs cover/vinyl/vinyl etc.)
LPs are graded visually and conservatively under many bright lights.Questionable marks are play graded.

EX+ Nice…, but not m-
EX Some cover wear which will bedescribed in some detail. At least avisual mark on the vinyl but light in nature and should play okay though therecould be light surface sound
VG+ Seam splits , ringwear, cover wear, smallsticker tears etc can come into play. On the vinyl there may be visual marks(eg. scuffs, hairline scratches). There can be some background surface sound.
VG More wear on covers and more wear on LPs(multiple marks) Most likely surfacesounds though the LPs may rise above the music should be able to playwithout skipping or repeating.
Fair Used only with covers. At this point thecover is in rough condition.
Shipping and Handling
All LPs come boxed carefully in corrugatedboxes made specifically for LPs, plus the LPs are housed in clear plastic LPsleeves. LP is removed from cover ( except for SEALED LPs) for shipping toprevent seam splitting.

On Apr-19-13 at 13:39:15 PDT, seller added the following information:Please also note that the spine of the box reads FP 252 while the front cover reads FA 2952 which supports my explanation of why the discs are labeled differently. They must have been in transition with the new numbering system which again I believe occured circa 1958.
