Anthology of American Folk Music ~ compilation of 84 recordings made between 1927 & 1932 ~ 3 Volumes all edited by Harry Smith: Volume 1 Ballads FA2951, Volume 2 Social Music FA2952 & Volume 3 Songs FA2953 ~ each volume has 2-LPs

also includes 2 (identical) Handbooks that contain numerical listing of selections in all 3 volumes with information on original issues, condensations of texts, notes on recordings and bibliographical and discographical references + alphabetical index to titles, artists, first lines, subjects and instrumentation of recordings 1 to 84 + consolidated bibliography of important references to selections found in this set

Condition: no scratches, but a few scuffs on several of the records - nothing that interferes with playing, all 6 records have plain sleeves, Vol 1 box has 2 torn corners & loose back flap, Vol 2 box has 1 corn corner and loose back flap, Vol 3 box has label torn off ~ please see photos for condition of item
