Description
This is an original 1952 pressing of two LP box set "Anthology of American Folk Music Vol 1: Ballads" by Harry Smith on Folkways Records with blue and silver labels. Deep groove on both sides.
Runout hand etched
Side A: FP 251 A [Plastilyte "ear"] 3T [square symbol]
Side B: FP 251 B [Plastilyte "ear"] 3T [square symbol]
Side C: [Plastilyte "ear"] FP 251 C 3T [square symbol]
Side D: [Plastilyte "ear"] FP 251 D 3T [square symbol]
Vinyl grade: VG+ Glossy vinyl with scant light marks of little to no consequence. Plays very nicely. The spindle hole for disc 1 looks to be larger than normal.
Sleeve grade: EX The box is in great shape. The booklet is more or less like new. I guess the lettering on the spine has faded slightly.
