Description

This is surprisingly exactly what the title says. I came across this gem over 10 years ago in a record store they had displaying behind a locked case and it blew my socks off seeing this 1st press copy brand new, still sealed and in mint shape, so of course I had to buy it. This is the pink text 1st press U.S. version from 1984, brand spanking new! In January 2024, this album will turn 40 years old... that's incredible!


There's no creasing on the jacket at all. 3 out of the 4 corners are sharp. The 4th corner (the top left side on the spine side) appears to have been a manufacturing defect in the jacket, where the jacket folds didn't exactly line up perfectly when they put the jacket together, creating a slight void where that corner would be (see pictures). Also, it appears the sealing process purposely put holes in the front sealing, which are clearly visible (see picture). I have marked the sleeve as "near mint" condition due to these defects.
