A stereotypical Black Americana vaudeville type early Edison 78 record. One side is Nigger Blues - Leroy (Lasses) White - Comic song with orchestra- Al Bernard. No. 50542-R. The other side is Satan, I'm Here - (I Couldn't Stand for a Trifflin Man) Marshall Walker - Comic song with orchestra - Ernest Hare. No. 50542-L. I do not have a phonograph that plays these old thick 78's so can't tell you what the sound quality will be but can assume that almost all these old 78's have considerable noise and scratchiness due to handling over the years, type of equipment that played them, etc. Some have a lot of scratchiness and some less but selling with no guarantee as to how good the sound will be. The record has some scratches visible, soiling finger smudges etc. so must sell as is. No breaks or major damage but there are couple very minor chips around rim but nothing that gets into the playing area. It was hard to photograph a dark shiny object without getting too much glare in photos but hopefully you can judge condition from photos. Record is approx. 9-1/2" in diameter.
